haha, thanks JJ ;-)

As for EE I'd follow http://www.eeinsider.com news, the #eecms hashtag on Twitter, install EE locally and play around with it. Check out Bueno from WooThemes if you want to install EE with a theme to learn some of the tags etc. If you want to develop modules (sounds like you're a CI dev so that's probably where you're heading) check out DevKit which will get you started:

I cannot stop laughing...

I am in ExpressionEngine's forum a while ago and I saw you there, an active member from Norway. Cool. I got curious that is why I came up until this old article of yours.

I should have read your article before I came here in Norway. I wonder how were you able to observe these pointers where I will assume that you are already used to it. Lol.

Anyway, nice article and you rock... By the way, I am a newbie in CI and it rocks as well. I have strong interest in EE. Do you have any pointers on how to get grip with it?

For Americans, please note:

Do not smile in Norway. Norwegians are not dumb, and they know that (1) they have never seen you before, so (2) you could not possibly be a friend, so (3) your smiles are obviously fake, and probably some devious plan to trick them.

I learned this the hard way: When my friendly smiles only produced suspicion in response, I resolved to smile even more, and more. Finally I was unsuccessfully smiling until my face hurt and my jaws were cracking, and the only result was some Norwegians were convinced that I was stark raving mad.

Do not smile in Norway, it is by far the safest. In fact, it is safest to regard all Norwegians with the greatest possible doubts you can conjure, resulting in their immediate trust and perhaps a friend for life, maybe even one you want.

Great article. The scary part is that it's actually true! Everything is closed when you get home from work, and the goverment do take almost all your money.

What a great country!

heh ;) well I guess it's a combination.

There is some truth in it though, which was illustrated to me once again today when I could not find frozen cranberries in the supermarket :angrysmiley:

.. but I guess some people have bigger problems than that, huh?
